Here is my first sketches of Tron amplifiers. I looked at the film images and drew on elements which I liked to come up with the drawings.
I looked at the bikes they ride in the film and immediately saw the wheels as speakers. There would be room to easily enclose the components.
The disk are great and have such impact in the film. I thought that I could have them lit up on a base that mounted the speaker and had the Tron writing alight in blue.
In this design I took the disk further and simple added the man simulating he is throwing it. The speaker will be in his stomach. All over the body I would have etching of 'laser lines' like that of the movie.
I liked the architecture in the pictures and wondered if I could make some buildings to. I used three tubes of different sizes which could be place together. Again like the Tron man I would etch 'laser lines'. The speakers would be placed in two of the towers and the MP3 player place in the other.
