Construction

As I cut the templates out I glued them together in three's using dichloromethane. Once they were adhered I then glued the three to other three sections, thus building up my body of my amplifier.  As went along I kept checking the depth until the battery was covered.  I then had to cut the back out


This shows the gluing of the templates and being held together by clamps.

Below shows numerous Tron templates pasted on one sheet using Corel Draw. This sheet represents the same size of acrylic on the laser cutter.

Once the sections are all glued together I needed to apply filler to smooth out the lines of the sections.  I will sand down and make a smooth finish for the black paint to be applied.  It will probably take a few layers to do.

This picture shows the filler covering the main body, It will harden and then using files and sand paper of varying grades I'll smooth down.
